The weather station was reading around 25 knots, on top of the pebbles the wind was reading around 20-25 knots, but for the short time I was on the water there just didn't quite seem to be enough wind to get me going.

I did try again, but aggravated a pulled muscle in my chest which prevented me from staying out so I had to pack up and struggle home.

Not sure if I was out in a lull or if there just wasn't much wind on the water, but once home and for the rest of the day the weather station was reading around 20-28 knots, so there was wind somewhere, just not where I was.

Oh well, you can't win em all.
